Event Contract Postponement or Cancellation Policies

JP Events is committed to ensuring that your entire event planning and execution experience is as easy and effortless as possible. We have a rigorous planning process with checklists and timelines to make sure all parties involved — JP Events staff, the clients, the venue, and any other vendors and suppliers — are all on the same page and ready to deliver, on time, every step of the way.

In addition, JP Events has and always will stay up to date with the latest CDC and Nashville Metro County health guidelines, especially in regards to Covid-19. We understand there is still uncertainty that comes with event planning during this pandemic, and we will work with you to ensure your event follows all regulations. Lastly, should your event need to be postponed or cancelled due to Covid-19, we will do our best to work with you to find a new date and/or alternative solution. Force Majeure
Caterer shall not be liable for the losses resulting from non-fulfillment of any terms or provisions of this Contract, if Caterer shall be prevented or delayed from performing in whole or in part because of war, riot, strike, and flood or by any other act or occurrence not within the control of Caterer, which it could not prevent.

 

Cancellation/Refund Policy
Client agrees that the deposit is non-refundable; however, should the event be canceled by no fault of the caterer and additional monies have been paid by client, the client will receive a refund based on the following scale:

  • 180+ Days prior to the event, client receives refund of 65% minus deposit funds.
  • 90-179 Days prior to event, client receives refund of 40% minus deposit funds.
  • 60-89 Days prior to event, client receives refund of 30% minus deposit funds.
  • 30-59 Days prior to event, client received refund of 15% minus deposit funds.
  • < 30 Days prior to event, NO REFUNDS WILL BE GIVEN.

 

Postponement
In the event that your event is postponed due to circumstances beyond the control of the Client or Caterer, all funds paid will be moved to a new date of Client’s choosing. It is the Client’s responsibility to inform the Caterer of the postponement at the earliest possible time. Caterer does not guarantee that Client’s new date will be available, but will work with the Client to ensure that a suitable date and time is found. Refunds for postponements will follow the refund schedule noted within.
